Budding golfers honed their putting skills and tee shots in an inter-school tournament.
Arkley Golf Club hosted the event in Rowley Green Road, Barnet, where six school teams went head-to-head in a series of mini competitions.
Yavneh College in Borehamwood came first, followed by Belmont School in Mill Hill.
Individual prizes were also awarded, with Mill Hill County’s Luke Jansen winning the Nearest to the Pin prize for the closest ball to the hole, and Yavneh’s Logan Deyong, winning the Nearest to the Line contest for hitting a golf ball the furthest on the fairway.
John Casalaspro, who helped organise the competition, said: “Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Competitions like this are a good way of getting people to come and play golf and to get golf in the community.”
Other schools which also took part included Aldenham School and The Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School in Elstree, as well as University College School based in Hampstead.
