A lorry driver who was arrested following a fatal road traffic collision is due to return bail later this month.
Police were called to reports of a lorry in collision with a pedestrian in Westminster on March 17.
Ninety-five-year-old Kathleen Morel of Clearwell Drive, Westminster, was pronounced dead at the scene, but a cause of death is yet to be confirmed.
The driver of the lorry, a 33-year old man from Borehamwood, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has been bailed to return to a central London police station on Monday, April 21.
It is believed the woman was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing when the truck collided with her.
