A primary school in Radlett has raised £436 for Sports Relief and Juvenile Diabetic Research.
The children at St John’s Infant and Nursery School completed a series of activities around the playground including scooter races, space hoppers, hula hooping and egg and spoon races.
The Gills Hill Lane school also had a visit from coaches at Watford Football Club. Children were taught football skills and took part in a penalty shoot-out.
Mrs Danielle Roberts, from the school, said: "Pupils raised the money for Juvenile Diabetic Research in addition to sports relief as it is a cause close to one of our families. One of our parents Russell Fox will be running a marathon to raise money for this cause.
"I’m so pleased with the support from children and parents and a fun if not tiring day was had by all."
