Threats to the environment and new housing developments will be discussed at the next Elstree & Borehamwood Green Belt Society meeting.

Guest speaker, Councillor Harvey Cohen, discuss the issues surrounding new building in the borough at the group's annual general meeting in Allum Hall, Allum Lane, on Tuesday May 6.

In Borehamwood, more than 2,500 new homes will be built over the next ten years and many have expressed concerns about overdeveloping the town.

The meeting will begin at 7.30pm.
