A special needs charity had a record 201 volunteers shaking their donation buckets during the festival of Purim.
Gemma Jacobson, from Elstree, joined Kisharon’s collectors which included service users, staff and volunteers.
Totting up the proceeds, Kisharon’s Adele Busse said: “It’s been an incredible time because so many people – including our own families – have come out to support us.”
Kisharon hopes to have raised £10,000 from the collection.
