Mental health workers will be taking on a cycle challenge to raise money for Sports Relief.
Staff at Partnerships in Care will be riding from their headquarters in Borehamwood to the Kneesworth House Hospital, in Royston, Hertfordshire, on Friday March 21.
The company is one of the country’s largest providers of mental health and learning disability support services.
During the past two months the company has been encouraging staff and patients to think about how better to look after their physical health.
Group chief executive Joy Chamberlain said: “The physical health of our patients and staff is important; all businesses need to support and encourage their workforce to get fit – the benefits are widely known.
“This initiative helps give both patients and staff the opportunity to consider their health in an informal and fun way.”
Both staff and patients will be taking part in runs, walks and bike rides to raise money for the charity next week.
