A hair and beauty salon that turned pink for the day raised more than £700 to combat breast cancer.

Cropz in Manor Way in Borehamwood held a Pink Friday at the end of last month for Breast Cancer Care.

During the day, staff dressed in pink and served tea, cake and pizza to customers, donated by Tesco and Morrisons.

The salon also offered half price hair and beauty treatments, reiki therapy and tarot card reading raising a total of £715.

Susan Ford Brady, who works at the salon, said: “Thanks for all the great support from everyone that helped us to raise that amount of money for a brilliant cause.”
