A body that gives advice and support to those in need will be able to reach more people thanks to a lottery grant.

A donation from the Big Lottery fund means the Citizens Advice Bureau in Hertsmere can now run additional sessions at venues across Borehamwood.

The advice helps people address problems with debt, benefits, employment, housing, discrimination, and many more issues. It is available to everyone.

On Mondays, advisors will run drop in sessions at the Borehamwood and Elstree Children’s Centre in Furzehill Road on Mondays between 9am and 12pm.

On Tuesdays, sessions will be at 96 Shenley Road on Tuesdays from 12pm and 2pm.

Advisors will be at the Community Shop at 5 Leeming Road and Farriers Way Community Centre on alternate Wednesdays between 10am and 12pm.

Sessions will also take place at 10 Leeming Road on Thursdays between 10am and 12pm and at 96 Shenley Road on Fridays between 10am and 12pm.

The sessions operate on a first-come-first-served basis.
