Borehamwood could be under a blanket of snow on Friday.

The Met Office has warned of disruption to the morning rush hour after it issued a weather warning for snow.

The Met Office’s chief forecaster said: "An area of low pressure is expected to move eastwards on Friday. There is considerable uncertainty in its track and therefore on the risk and location of any snow."

The 'yellow' snow warning is in place between 12.05am and 12pm.

TFEB says...

This is for the North of Hertfordshire and described as:

"Rain will turn to snow for a time, mainly over the high ground during Friday morning. Over low ground it is unlikely that any snow will accumulate but many areas may see falling snow and slushy deposits for a time."
