A woman suspected of helping herself from the shelves of a supermarket is being sought by police.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has released CCTV footage from the Co-operative supermarket in Organ Hall, Borehamwood, of a woman placing items in a bag before leaving without paying on January 15 at 12.30pm.
PC Shazia Malik is investigating, She said: “I would like to speak to the woman pictured as it is possible she witnessed the theft or has information that could assist the investigation.
“If you recognise the woman, or if you recognise yourself, please contact me immediately. I would also ask if anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously in the store at the stated time and day to make contact with me.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Malik via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101.
