Stirling Corner, Elstree Crossroads and the future of travel in Hertfordshire will be on the agenda during a public meeting next week.
Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council will be hosting a meeting of the transport and road safety forum at Hertsmere Borough Council’s Civic Offices in Elstree Way next Thursday at 7pm.
The meeting is an opportunity for the public to ask to raise concerns with their councillors, representatives from bus and train companies and the police.
The forum will receive updates on Elstree crossroads, which was gridlocked earlier this month by road works, and on the 24-hour-a-day traffic lights trial at Stirling Corner roundabout.
The progress of the footbridge at Elstree and Borehamwood Station will be discussed, as will Hertfordshire County Council’s plans for cycle routes in Borehamwood and Elstree.
