Plans for the demolition of a chalet bungalow to make room for a five-bedroom house have been given the go ahead.
Last night members of Hertsmere Borough Council planning committee approved plans for demolition and construction on the site in Newberries Avenue, Radlett.
The current 1950s detached chalet bungalow will now be demolished to make way for a four-bedroom, two-storey house.
Officers involved in the case said development in this location was considered acceptable and the proposals would not impact on the visual amenity of the neighbouring properties or wider area.
