Men can work up a sweat at unique gents-only fitness classes for over 50s.
Fitness Fellas, in Borehamwood and Potters Bar, gives participants the opportunity to take part in regular exercise in a fun and sociable environment.
The project was launched after receiving a grant from Hertsmere’s Health and Wellbeing Group.
Councillor Brenda Batten, who is responsible for leisure, culture and health, said: “This is a fantastic new initiative aimed at encouraging participants to build and maintain their fitness.
“At the same time, it provides an opportunity for them to meet and interact with other members of their local community.”
Sessions in Potters Bar will take place at the King Charles the Martyr Church every Friday from February 14 from 10am to 11am.
The Borehamwood group will run on Tuesday, February 24 at Farriers Community Centre, Farriers Way, between 9.30am and 10.30am.
