Time is running out for people who want to experience Paris in the springtime.

Borehamwood and Elstree Twin Town Association (BETTA) is planning a trip to its French twin town, Fontenay aux Roses in the suburbs of Paris, on the weekend of May 16.

The expedition will coincide with the village’s annual festival, which includes a carnival parade, and there will be a stall at the event promoting Borehamwood.

The visitors will have time to sample other local nearby attractions, and previous visits have included trips to Versailles, L’Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and the Sacré Coeur.

Travel will be by Eurostar, and the trip costs £350, which includes all travel and accommodation.

To secure your place on the trip, a deposit of £50 has to be paid by Friday.
