A man has been recognised for his dedicated work at a government department in the Queen’s New Year Honours list for 2014.
Paul Welch, of Borehamwood has been given an OBE for his services to Records and Information Governance.
He has been recognised for his work as head of records and information governance at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
Philanthropist John Dorrington Apthorp, OBE, of Radlett, has now been given a CBE for his charitable work in Hertfordshire.
