Strong winds and freezing temperatures could cause disruption to train services over the Christmas period.

First Capital Connect will run a reduced service across all routes today and tomorrow, as a storm ravages London.

The Met Office has issued an amber alert for rain and wind – the highest warning – across parts of London.

Passengers are advised to travel early on Monday, and not to travel Monday and Tuesday evening as services will remain disrupted until Christmas Eve.
