Christmas came early for blind and partially sighted people at a Borehamwood club.
Members of the Visually Impaired Club, which meets at Maxwell Park Community Centre in Borehamwood, decorated cakes and made cards in time for the festive season.
The club, which has equipment to enable blind and partially sighted people to play together, meets every Friday afternoon.
In the new year it will be putting on new activities including Boccia, New Age Kurling, Shove Happeny, Bagatelle and chess, thanks to the setting up grant from Hertsmere Borough Council.
