Children sang Christmas carols in a packed church at their annual festive concert.

Pupils from Saffron Green Primary School, in Nicoll Way, Borehamwood, held their annual concert in Holy Cross Church.

Reception and nursery pupils sang Little Donkey, and other years recited prayers and readings about the spirit of Christmas.

Music teacher Rebecca Gorman said: “It was very exciting. A huge amount of parents came, eager to see their kids and to be supportive to the school community.”
