Last man standing Patrick Robinson crashes out of Strictly Come Dancing at Elstree Studios

Patrick Robinson and his partner Anya Garnis lost the dance-off and a place in the final of Strictly Come Dancing
There are no men left standing at Elstree Studios as Strictly Come Dancing moves towards its grand finale.
The five remaining constants were stretched to their limits on Saturday's show, as they each performed two demanding dances before difficult judges.
But Patrick Robinson was the casualty of last night’s semi-final dance-off, after he fluffed the footwork in his waltz and performed a wobbly paso doble on Saturday.
It was obvious his less-than-perfect performance would earn him a place in the dance-off. However, the identity of his competitor was more of a surprise.
Susanna Reid performed a silky smooth quickstep but her messy salsa seemed certain to earn her a place in the dreaded dance-off.
Yet despite being joint top of the table and scoring a perfect 40 with her waltz, Natalie Gumede was chosen by viewers to dance for her life.
This was the first time the former Coronation Street actress, who is a favourite to win, has been in the dance-off and she was saved by the judges after performing a technically perfect Argentine tango.
Abbey Clancey shared the top spot, performing a saucy samba and an enchanting American Smooth.
With Mr Robinson gone, next week’s programme will be the first all-female final in the show’s history and it is anyone’s guess who will end up clutching the glitterball trophy.
