Older people shared good food and better company at a Christmas lunch.
More than 60 senior citizens sat down to turkey with all the trimmings at Farriers Way Community Centre on Tuesday.
The lunch was organised by Community Action Hertsmere's Timebank, with the help of councillors Sandra Parnell and Pat Strack.
Entertainment was provided by Des Feehily from XPGevents.com and the event was made possible through donations from Elstree and Borehamwood Rotary Club, Tesco and Community Action Hertsmere.
Emma Bloomfield, who organised the event with her colleague Keely Allanson, said the afternoon was "fun packed and festive".
She added: "Keely and I would like to thank all the Timebank volunteers who helped us on the day as without them it would of been impossible.
"Timebank now aims to hold an event like this once a month for our older community."
