Three men have been arrested after police uncovered a cannabis factory.
Police raided an address in Alexandra Road in Borehamwood in the early hours of Saturday morning after neighbours reported suspicious smells and unusual activity.
Officers discovered 265 cannabis plants, which have now been destroyed.
Duc Hoang, 33, who is from the Harrow area, will appear in court on Christmas Eve charged with cultivating cannabis.
A 28-year-old from Hagley and a 16-year-old from Harrow have been released on police bail until January 18, pending further enquiries.
This is the second time a cannabis factory has been found in Hertsmere within a month, with one being uncovered in Duncan Way in Bushey in November.
PC Geoff Webb said: “We are very grateful for residents coming forward with this information, which we were able to act on quickly.
“We obtained a search warrant and have seized and destroyed the plants. Residents have expressed their gratitude with the swift response as cannabis factories negatively impact on their quality of life.”
