Older people are being invited to share good food and better company at a community Christmas lunch.
Community Action Hertsmere is hosting a meal next Tuesday at Farriers Way Community Centre for the elderly in Borehamwood who might be lonely this festive season.
As well as enjoying traditional Christmas food, guests will be treated to music and entertainment.
Community Action Hertsmere is seeking people who would be willing to give up some time to help with the meal, or who would be able to help with the entertainment.
The organisation is also seeking donations for a raffle to be held during the lunch.
The event will take place between 12pm and 2pm. Tickets cost £3.00.
