Regus centre in Borehamwood will be drop-off point for shoeboxes in Operation Christmas Child
People are being encouraged to fill a shoebox with Christmas gifts for children in third world countries.
Office space supplier Regus is supporting Operation Christmas Child by filling shoeboxes with toys and gifts to send to children overseas in refugee camps and orphanages.
The Regus centre in Imperial Place, Maxwell Road, Borehamwood, will be a drop-off point for people to hand in shoeboxes from Friday until November 18 between 9am to 5pm.
Steve Purdy, managing director at Regus, said: “The shoebox appeal is easy, fun to take part in, and brings incredible joy to children who are in real poverty.
“We’re hoping that lots of other local workplaces as well as schools and clubs will support us by filling shoeboxes with small gifts for children who have probably never received a present before.”
