Elstree woman hosts new business network for South Hertfordshire
An Elstree woman has been chosen to run a new business network.
The South Hertfordshire group of The Business Network was launched during a meeting in Hatfield last week.
Hosted by Sharon Sacofsky, previously work experience officer at The Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School, the network will work to improve the quality and impact of relationships between busineses.
The Business Network runs meetings across the country during which businesspeople establish working links and form a network of contacts.
More than 40 people attended the event on Tuesday, which also raised almost £300 for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Hertfordshire.
Ms Sacofsky said: “I am really excited about bringing the expertise and experience of The Business Network to this part of the country.
“We know The Business Network format is extremely effective in helping firms to grow. By combining practical seminars with co-ordinated dining plans for members and guests, we make sure business connections are made and maintained.”
The Business Network is open to business leaders, entrepreneurs of growing companies and directors of professional services.
It holds monthly meetings at the Beal Hotel in Hatfield.
