Man hit by train at Radlett identified
The person hit by a train at Radlett has been identified.
A spokesman from British Transport Police said the victim was a 42-year-old man who lived in St Albans.
The man cannot yet be named and his next of kin are being informed.
Emergency services were called to Radlett Station at 3.03pm yesterday, with the victim pronounced dead at the scene.
The death was not treated as suspicious.
Services on the lines from St Pancras to St Albans and Bedford were brought to a standstill by the incident.
The rush hour was badly affected by delays of 80 minutes and normal service was not resumed until the early hours of this mornng.
