Care home residents and their families soaked up the last few rays of sunshine with a charity fitness event.
People from Hill House, Elstree Hill, took part in BUPA's Keep Fit Project to help raise money for their care home, which also caters for people with dementia.
Just over 20 people attended the event, with takings going towardsactivities for residents.
The day began with a walk around the grounds - dubbed the Memory Walk - then Tai Chi instructor Michael Richards led a talk on the physical benefits of the Japanese martial art.
Members were then quizzed on previous activities and were awarded numerous prizes.
Events co-ordinator Laredana Ancutei said: “The event was very successful with community members taking part.
"We’re looking to do an event like this again; it had a great impact on the people who live here.”
