Hundreds take part in World Mental Health Day at Leeming Road, Borhamwood
People put their best feet forward for a Zumbathon to raise awareness about World Mental Health Day.
Hundreds went down to the Big Local Shop, Leeming Road, Borehamwood, for the dancing challenge.
The joint event, organised by Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust and Guideposts Trust, was held to encourage people to speak up about mental health issues.
Volunteer Ann Collins, 55, said: "I think it's important the people of Borehamwood know the shop is open to help people - not just those with mental health issues - but those who need company or feel isolated.
"I think the event was a great way to get that message across. I thoroughly enjoyed the zumba dancing, even though I couldn't always keep up."
Other events included a reminiscence quiz, a healthy lunch and a yoga session.
