Children at Woodlands Primary School in Borehamwood take part in world's biggest coffee morning
Children at a primary school joined in with the world’s biggest coffee morning.
Pupils at Woodlands Primary School in Alban Crescent raised £205 last Friday by holding a Macmillan Coffee morning.
Members of the school council sold a wide range of sweet treats to parents and members of the school’s parent teachers’ association, helped by classroom assistant Mandy Slavin.
Secretary of the parent teachers' association Julie Smith, who was at the event, said: “I’d like to congratulate the school council on its fantastic efforts.
“We had so much cake there was enough to share with our neighbours at The Poplars and teachers in the staff room. People were so generous.”
