Councillor Leon Reefe gives funding for theatrical spectacular
A councillor is helping bring a theatrical spectacular to Borehamwood.
Leon Reefe has set aside £500 for an old tyme music hall production from his locality budget.
The money will be used to hire costumes, props and lighting.
The play will showcase local talent and help raise money for the organisation and for the Ark Theatre, where it will be held
Cllr Reefe said: “This particular local organisation does tremendous work on behalf of local residents suffering from learning disabilities, as well as supporting their families.
“My contribution to the proposed event is in line with my promise to support local organisations based in and working for the good of Borehamwood and Hertsmere generally.”
Each county councillor has £10,000 available to spend on worthwhile community projects in their area for their locality budgets.
