Firefighters were called out to a blazing van after it caught fire on a busy road.
The fire started as the van was travelling on the A1 northbound between Borehamwood and South Mimms at around 4pm this afternoon.
Two lanes were closed and there were heavy tailbacks going towards the Stirling Corner roundabout.
Nobody was injured and firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
