Hertswood School, Borehamwood, pupils take part in National Literacy Week

The children with the exhibition The children with the exhibition

Children made a life-sized cut-out of a storybook character as part of a campaign to get pupils reading.

Pupils at Hertswood School, in Thrift Farm Lane, Borehamwood, made the likeness of the hero in Oliver Jeffers’ book the Incredible Book Eating Boy.

The students also created an exhibition about the book with art and writing about their favourite moments as part of National Literacy Week.
