Red-nosed rockets took to the skies this week when childrenadapted their science projects to help raise cash for charity.

Pupils at Shenley Primary School, in Radlett, have taken part in a two-day ‘exploring space’ workshop and put their new skills to the challenge on Thursday.

Around 50 children designed rockets with red nose cones in support of Comic Relief Day, which takes place today.

The children paid £2 to launch each rockets and managed to raise £110 for the charity.
