Its value is more than just monetary, and the owner of jewellery stolen during a burglary in Borehamwood is appealing for its return.

Police are now appealing for anyone who has seen the watches, earings, necklaces and bracelets to come forward to help return them to their rightful owner.

The burglary happened in Nicholas Road between Tuesday February 12 and Tuesday February 19.

Detective Constable Guy Reynolds, who is investigating the theft, said: “The jewellery taken is not only expensive but of sentimental value to the victim.

“Understandably, they are very keen to have them returned.”
