Young bookworms dressed up as superheroes and princesses to celebrate their favourite stories as part of World Book Day.
Children from Kenilworth Primary School in Kenilworth Drive went to school last Thursday dressed as characters from their favourite book.
Reception and Year One pupils had a visit from author Tamsyn Murray, who read from her books Snug as a Bug and Stunt Bunny.
The children said they were thrilled to have the chance to meet the author.
Older children in the school were also treated to a visit from author Jonny Zucker, who wrote Terror Beast, and said he was impressed with their enthusiasm for reading.
