Hertfordshire Police try to trace stolen items

Pocket watches, valuable coins and a satellite navigation system are among hundreds of valuable items that could have been stolen in burglaries in Borehamwood.

Hertfordshire Police is now releasing images of the items in the hope of of tracing their owners.

Burglary victins are being asked to look through the pictures and contact officers if they recognise their belongings.

The property was found at addresses in Luton and Milton Keynes on March 4 this year, but detectives believe the goods were stolen in Hertfordshire.

Three men have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to steal in connection with nine offences in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Detective Constable Paula Dickerson, who is investigating the thefts, said: “The items could be linked with crimes which have occurred in the past six months and may have been stolen from Hertfordshire or surrounding counties.

“We are keen to reunite the seized property with their rightful owner and I would ask anyone who recognises anything to contact  us.”
