Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice has received a donation of computer monitors from Hertsmere Borough Council.

Some of the 47 screens will be put to use in the office with the remainder to be sold at the charity's shop in High Street, Barnet, to raise funds.

The equipment was surplus to the council’s needs following an upgrade programme and is the latest of a number of donations that have been sent to the charity.

Lorraine Feldman, of Noah's Ark, said: “It’s great that the community can support us and we can work together."

The second-hand computer hardware will hopefully raise funds so the charity can continue to support seriously ill children and their families in Barnet and other north London boroughs.
