Hertsmere Borough Council and Child UK to hold free Us Girls! event

Teenage girls can take part in free dance and beauty classes.

Girls aged 13 to 17, who live in Hertsmere, can join the Us Girls! taster sessions in March.

In four weeks of evening classes, girls will learn about fashion, styling, hair care, make up and street dance.

The taster sessions then lead to a ten-week programme,in which girls will take part in a professional photo shoot and make their own dance video.

Taster sessions will run from Friday, March 1 from 7pm to 9pm, to Friday, March 2. The creative project will run every Friday from April 12, to June 21.
