Hertfordshire County Council relaunches highway problem reporting system

A system for people to report faulty street lights and potholes has been relaunched on the Hertfordshire County Council website.

People can use the highway faults section of the council's website to report faults and receive e-mail updates when it has ben fixed.

Have used this facility quite often to report various things and have found, most of the time, the faults have been dealt with within a reasonable amount of time.

Yes there was a time when street light outages were actioned within 5 working days. There must now be serious problems when lights have not been repaired coming up for 3 months after being reported.

At the moment this "service" is not fit for purpose.
