An online journey planner to help parents and pupils beat the traffic jams and find the best way to school has been launched.
The app offers a range of routes either by foot, bike, public transport or car and also shows the amount of calories burned and carbon emissions produced on each route.
Walking routes avoid unsafe sections of a journey, and also show three cycle route options to suit the child’s level of experience.
