Hertsmere Borough Council's Elstree Corridor consultation ends on Monday

The Elstree Way Corridor The Elstree Way Corridor

Residents have just three days left to comment on development plans at a “key gateway” to Hertsmere.

The area around Elstree Way, known as the Elstree Way Corridor, has been identified as being able to provide at least 800 homes to meet the needs of the borough.

The 'corridor' runs from the Tesco roundabout in Shenley Road, to the double roundabout in Elstree Way, near the offices and housing.

Hertsmere Borough Council has put together an action plan for the redevelopment of the site in its 'core strategy', which sets out development, employment and transport plans until 2027.

In the consultation, people will be able to have their say on pedestrian, cycle and vehicle links with the town centre.

The full plan is available for viewing on Hertsmere Borough Council’s website.

The consultation ends on February 18 and responses can be sent by e-mail to core.strategy@hertsmere.gov.uk
