The man said the yobs smashed his dining room window with a pellet gun
A bicycle was stolen from a street described as a "hub" for anti-social behaviour.
Two teenagers were seen going into flats in Crown Road, Borehamwood, and taking a black unisex Carrera pedal bike from the communal stairwell just after 8.30pm.
Both men are described as slim and in their late teens. One was wearing a beige hooded jumper and dark trousers, and the other was wearing a similar top with blue stripes on the arm.
The burglary comes just one week after Crown Road residents told the Borehamwood Times they are "living in fear" and constantly tormented by a group of rowdy teenagers.
One man said the gang of yobs had slashed his tyres, broken his garden fence and smashed his window with a pellet gun, but vowed not to be defeated by their childish behaviour.
