Elstree Safer Neighbourhood Team to hold free home safety event for Hertsmere residents
11:00am Friday 18th January 2013 in News By Anna Slater
Householders looking for advice on how to keep their home safe can attend a free event.
Officers from the Elstree Safer Neighbourhood Team are holding the home safety and security day in February.
People who attend will be given crime prevention advice, can book a free home fire safety check and will have the chance to sign up to neighborhood watch.
During the event, residents will also be able to raise concerns about where they live and meet the local police officers and PCSOs.
Detectives are teaming up with Hertsmere Borough Council, Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Neighbourhood Watch and Community Action to help make the day a success.
It will be held at Allum Hall, in Allum Lane, Elstree between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Friday, February 8.
