Jazzed up cars cruised through Borehamwood on Friday to raise cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Simon Chapman, of Croydon, and seven other friends, drove the eccentric old bangers – each worth under £250 – to the iconic Elstree Studios en route to Blackpool.
The friends planned the Top Gear style rally to raise money in memory of their friend, Scout leader Dave Smith, who died of the disease aged 60.
Mr Chapman, 33, said: “So many famous films were shot here and it has so much history, so we thought it would be a perfect landmark to see on our trip.”
