Mums organise charity evening in aid of Cancer Research UK
11:00am Thursday 10th January 2013 in News By Natalie O'Neill
A group of mums are organising a charity evening in aid of Cancer Research UK this month.
FrankMums will host the event at St Michael and All Angels Church in Brook Road, Borehamwood, on Thursday January 31 from 8.30-10.30pm.
Sarah Adam, a member of the group, said: "FrankMums was set up by a lady called Donna Ross as an online forum for mums to rant and vent their feelings about being a mother. It's about being honest and being able to say what you really think, knowing no one will judge you.
"We also want to help raise money for charities so we're setting up this event in aid of Cancer Research UK. We really want to get a lot of people together to help this charity."
There will be stalls selling a variety of cakes, beauty treatments and baby goods as well as a raffle.
The entrance fee will be £5, which includes a free hot drink and cake.
