Commuters left feeling glum about their first day back at work today will be faced with more misery tonight as trains between Kings Cross and Luton are delayed.

The First Capital Connect Services are running with delays of up to 30 minutes after a signalling problem at Cricklewood earlier this afternoon.

It is not known when the trains – which run between Borehamwood, Mill Hill, Hendon, Radlett and St Albans – will return to normal.

Tickets are being accepted on London Underground routes and London buses.

Probably very long delays from Kings Cross as there has not been an open station on this line at Kings Cross for many years. There is one near Kings Cross called St Pancras International.
