On Thursday December 27, Friday December 28, Monday December 31, will all run with a revised Saturday service.

For New Years Eve there will be extra services running into the early hours of the morning with free travel from central London from 11.45pm on the 31 December 2012 until 4.30am on 1 January 2013.

Managing Director Neal Lawson said: “We know visitors and customers enjoy a night out in London in the run up to Christmas, so we have laid on extra services and longer trains late at night to Peterborough and Cambridge to make their journey home easier.

“And for the third year running we are also offering our customers a free ride home overnight on New Year’s Eve.”

It has also been announced there is major engineering work planned on Tuesday January 1 on the Hertford route and at Hadley Wood, New Barnet, New Southgate, Alexandra Palace, Hornsey and Harringay.
