A man has been arrested after two men were killed in a collision on the M1 in the early hours of this morning.
The 25-year-old from East London was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Ambulance crews were called to the crash involving two black BMWs, between the Watford and Edgware junctions at 2.45am.
Two other men injured in the crash were stabilised and taken to St Mary’s Hospital with serious injuries. Another two were taken to Watford General Hospital.
The M1 was shut southbound as police carried out investigation work at the scene, but it was fully re-opened at around midday.
