Borehamwood Christmas lights switch-on today

Families have been invited to the annual Borehamwood Christmas light switch-on today.

The ceremony on will include a number of activities for people to enjoy, with a family fun event taking place from 2pm to 7pm outside All Saints Church, Shenley Road.

At 4pm the Christmas lights in Shenley Road, Manor Way, Leeming Road and Elstree High Street, will be switched on by Mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood Town Councillor Charles Kelly.

Beforehand people will be able to enjoy festive fun with free entertainment organised by Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council including an ice rink, a vintage carousel and performance from Borehamwood Brass.

Christmas Light and before us time for ... a cold winter,a little green tree, funny socks, Mr.Santa ho ho ho, a large glass of milk, fresh cookies, wishes to the first star. Thousands of tiny bulbs sometimes very small and very bright. Lights for Love!!
