The Environment Agency has lifted a flood alert for Borehamwood area.
The alert had been issued following heavy rain during the weekend and warned of possible flooding of the Upper River Colne and Radlett Brook, which could have affected Borehamwood and Radlett.
The area has been hit with constant rainfall fall for a number of days with Allum Lane, in Elstree, partially flooded and cars having to drive slowly through the water.
In a statement on the website the Environment Agency said river levels had peaked on Sunday morning and fallen back, but could rise again if there is further rain.
