Christmas lights switch on in Borehamwood

Christmas lights will sprinkle some festive cheer onto the village when they are switched on next month.
The family fun day will feature entertainment such as a free ice rink, a carousel and dance performances.
Music will also be provided by the Borehamwood Brass band, and a special service featuring Christmas Carols will be held in All Saints Church.
The lights will be switched on by town council Mayor Charles Kelly at 4pm.
The event will be held from 2pm to 7pm behind All Saints Church, in Shenley Road, Borehamwood, on December 2.
